Malibu offers a wide selection of landscape lighting products and in particular a broad and popular range of low voltage landscape lights.
The Malibu low voltage lighting system includes a range of power packs that makes installation of a landscape lighting simple.
The power packs are rated from 88Watts up to 900Watts.
The power packs connect to the mains supply and convert it to the low voltage used by the light fixtures.
You select the power pack size based on the number and wattage of the lights you plan to install in a given area.
The recommended installation approach is to keep the cable runs from the lights to the power pack as short as possible.
This means for a large installation you will need to design several areas, each equipped with its own power pack.
First determine the location of your power pack, then check the fixture positions in your lighting plan and determine the run of cable needed to connect each fixture to the power pack
Each power pack is equipped with its own timer to turn the lights on and off.
To simplify installation, Malibu lights have a “fast lock system” that makes it quick and simple to attach the lights to the cables.
